Through finding the Marie Kondo method, her surroundings grew tidier, beginning to find more mental clarity and newfound creativity. Not only did her streamlined spaces grant her more leisure time, but they also enabled her to prioritize her health.

Feeling like she could do more, she drew from
James Clear's wisdom in "Atomic Habits" and Lea envisioned her ideal self and crafted an environment suited to her aspirations to be a YouTuber and runner like Casey Neistat. Through intentional design and discipline, Lea not only transformed her space but also started her journey towards a stronger mind and body.

get to know Lea

Lea Thwaites, Owner of Chibi Chores Cleaning, has always been passionate about organization and keeping a clean space. Although it never crossed her mind it could be a tool to improve one’s overall health.
However, after developing a blood clot in 2019, stopping her dream of moving to Japan, Lea found herself stuck in the infamous
quarter-life crisis.

Little did Lea realize; she was about to embark on the biggest self-improvement journey she has ever faced.

O-M-G I *finally* moved to Japan! 🛫

During the next 3 years, waiting for her arm to heal, to then COVID-19 closing the world, she decided to use this time to continue challenging herself with bigger projects.

Now taking inspiration from the YouTuber; bestdressed, she began filming her progress on her friend’s most cluttered spaces. Through this she continued learning new skills like painting, renovation and refurbishing
furniture.

When she finally made the move in June 2022, she began using the lessons again to help calm her down during this massive adjustment. While the language barrier was difficult, Lea was able to learn more Japanese habitual traditions in her new home.

Once her friends saw Lea’s finished room, they saw the potential their own spaces could have, so Lea offered to help. Working together, she taught her methods to creating personalized systems once again.

Through seeing how having an organized, aesthetic space could have repetitive positive impacts on people’s lives, Lea was inspired to create her own business to help others achieve the same personal success.
